Open Lot is a small, independent coffee importer based in the Netherlands. We specialise in sourcing rare, high‑quality coffees from India and bringing them to European roasters in a way that is simple, transparent, and fair.

We spend our time between farms in India and roasters in Europe, listening, learning, and building relationships. Our goal is to make importing Indian coffee feel less like a risk and more like an exciting, trustworthy part of your offer

What We Do

We focus on one thing and do it well: Indian specialty coffee lots that are rare, experimental, traceable, and ready for your roastery.

Direct Farm Relationships

We work closely with producers and small estates, visiting farms and understanding their terrior and post harvest process of the coffee. That means better selection, better quality control, and real stories behind each lot.

Traceable & Story‑Ready

For every coffee, we share farm information, processing details, cupping notes and photos, so you can easily communicate origin and value to your customers. We source 100% fully traceable specialty coffee from reliable farmers in India, who are environmentally friendly and practice sustainable farming methods.

Indian Micro‑lots & Nano‑lots

• 85+ SCA coffees from Sount India and beyond.

• Washed, natural and experimental processes.

• Lot sizes from 30–300 kg so you can truly feature them.

Simple EU Logistics

We handle the complexity: import, compliance and storage; so you receive coffee from our base in the Netherlands, with clear landed pricing and realistic timelines.
